The Future Genin Meet the Pacifistic Ninja Monk Empty
PostSubject: The Future Genin Meet the Pacifistic Ninja Monk   The Future Genin Meet the Pacifistic Ninja Monk Icon_minitimeTue Sep 28, 2010 9:37 pm

"Class, listen up cause I have something important to announce" said Iruka as he looked around the classroom, who did nothing to be quiet. "SHUT UP YOU BRATS CAUSE I HAVE SOMETHING TO ANNOUNCE" yelled Iruka as his head enlarged to a comical size, causing the students to quiet down. Iruka breathed in and out a few times before he got on with his announcement. "We have a visitor from outside the village. He's your age and lives as a Buddhist Monk, though he is taught the ways of the ninja arts. Lord Hokage and the Head Monk of the Temple, Kaiyasu has allowed him to visit us to get a bit of a feel of what ninja learn in the Academy. Please welcome young Ryuumaru Shimazu" he said as the door opened up to reveal a rather exotic looking child.

His hair was long and silver and it was pulled back into a long ponytail. His ears were pointed and his skin was a little pale, though the color of it made it look like he was glowing whenever light hit him. He had some odd facial tattoos, a purple crescent moon on his forehead and two purple stripes on his cheeks. However, the oddest thing about him were his eyes. They were a gray color that had several small circles extending outwards from the pupils, the pattern covered his entire eye, even the areas where the whites were supposed to be. He wore an orange monk robe with numerous prayer beads tied around his hands and neck and he had one of those staffs monks had in his hands, that had a golden circle at the end and had numerous smaller golden circles that looked a bit like earrings attached to him. Despite his rather odd appearance, he was very handsome, looking like he was born of a noble and even royal line. He gave the class a calm, peaceful, tranquil and handsome smile, one that could easily make any girl blush and politely bowed to them all. "It is a honor to meet all of you. I hope I can benefit someday by sitting in on the lectures given here today" he said in a smooth, silky voice filled with politeness and calmness.

Sakura perked up at the mention of the new pupil, tilting her head to the side. It wasn't every day you saw someone like him. She tried to seem friendly and shifted her bag off the free seat beside her, hence giving him somewhere to sit. She managed to flash the boy a welcoming smile as she resumed her work.

Iruka looked up at the back of the class. "Ah, now there's a seat for you, beside the girl with the pink hair there. Her name is Sakura, she's very nice. You should get along with her just fine," He smiled and patted the boys back, urging him forward.

"As you wish sir" Ryuumaru said in a respectful tone as he bowed his head as he made his way up up to the seat Iruka indicated and flashed Sakura a friendly smile. "Thank you for letting me sit next to you" he said gratefully as he sat down next to her placing down on the floor in front of him. Before Iruka could begin his lecture, Ryuumaru clasped his hands together and started saying a prayer. "Thank you Lord Buddha for allowing me the honor of learning a bit about ninja life. I pray that this opportunity shall help me excel far in life on my path to enlightenment" he whispered to himself with his eyes closed.

"You're welcome. It's no trouble, really," She smiled as she waved her hand as if to dismiss the matter. She tilted her head to the side in curiousity at his prayer. Buddha, huh? Well, this was interesting. Not wanting to disturb him, she didn't say a word until he was finished. She made a mental note to learn more about him after Iruka had finished his lecture.

"Alright everybody, settle down!" Iruka called clapping his hands together. "Today we're going to be focusing on your basic jutsu. Yes, I know that you already know some of them, but nobody in this classroom is perfect at them. First of all, we're going to be looking at the Transformation Jutsu!"

Ryuumaru's pointed ears twitched a bit at the name of the technique. The Transformation Technique, or the Henge, the ability to cast a minor illusion around one self to look like someone or something else. He learned this in his second year at the temple and it seemed a little...lacking that the class was learning about this late. Then again, the monks at the temple made the younger monks go through more experienced and tough training and things were probably a bit different here. He paid attention anyway, despite already knowing about this technique and even started to take notes as Iruka began his lesson on the Transformation Technique. It is as the Head Monk Kaiyasu said. No matter how many times you hear certain information repeated to you, that does not make it a waste. Sometimes, revisiting said information can help you find new ideas to use old or basic techniques in entirely new ways that never crossed your mind before and to this day, he kept this particular lecture in his mind.

He looked around the room and noticed that most of the students were barely paying any attention and he felt that they were being a bit disrespectful to Iruka. Deciding to liven things up a bit, he raised his hand up in the air to ask a question. "Iruka-Sensei, pardon me for my interruption but do you think you could list off the most practical uses of the Transformation Technique today and maybe even some more creative ways to use them? I'm just asking because it might help further the skill and help increase the student's abilities in the particular art sir" he informed Iruka in a polite and respectful tone of voice as he sat up perfectly straight with his attention almost completely on the teacher.

Sakura perked right up. Perhaps it would help more than the rest of the class thought if they had more examples of when and where to use the technique. "Yes, Iruka-Sensei, please!" She agreed with a nod. "It'd be very helpful, honestly it would!"

Iruka folded his arms and cleared his throat, taking the suggestion very seriously whereas he would've merely shrugged it off it had been Naruto or the like that suggested it. "Yes, well," He began. "A good time to use the transformation technique would be when infiltrating enemy lines. To gain the appearance of an enemy can give you access to unbelievable amounts of information. HOWEVER, you must be careful. You have to take out the person in question you wish to impersonate and make sure you have everything right down to the most minute detail. If not, then you could quite easily endanger yourself and your squad,"

"You are absolutely right sir but sometimes, it isn't that simple. There could be risks where after you took out your target and impersonated him or her, the person or people you are trying to fool could know your target personally and they could see right through you based on how you act and unless your not very thorough enough, the body could be found so what should happen if either of those things come into play?" Ryuumaru asked in a respectful tone as he clasped his hands together with an expression of nothing but respectfulness and intelligence. His knowledge on the technique proved he must have been taught very thoroughly by the monks. Kaiyusu-Sama always told him that intelligence, wisdom and knowledge is a major key factor in just the way of the ninja but of also in daily life. Ryuumaru had proven not only his intelligence but his open mind to the possibilities of failure or possible risks and a such, questioned the Academy Teacher as because unlike most future ninja, he wasn't cocky enough to believe that every tactic, technique and plan is full-proof, showing to the Class and the Teacher just how knowledgeable and ready he was of risks and just how ready he was to be a ninja, all the while proving just how high his intelligence and wisdom is compared to a lot of the Academy Students.
